Abstract

Courts in pamekasan in general are still being managed by a simple and gets less attention in fact if home-lots put to good use , it will be able to meet food needs and add to the family income .The purpose of this research is to find out the uses of homelots especially an ornamental p.tuberose to raise the income of farmers in pamekasan .Methods used namely data collection , interview , among respondents who was elected , the determination of respondents by using the method the census that is involving the entire some farmers who are growing crops p.tuberose in courts his home that is as many as 10 people .This research calculate the index diversity plants and area utilization home-lots .Based on the results of research in the village kowel we can conclude that: ( 1 ) the level of diversity back courts crops in the study areas low because diversity it <1.00 for all kinds of plants , an index that highest namely 0,922 In plants p.tuberose and the most low at carambola ( 0,5 ) , rata-rata possession of a plant polianthes p.tuberosa owned by 1163 the plant .That means that a home lot that existed in the village kowel used to a plant polianthes as many as 92 % the rest for plants fruit , food and medicine
