Abstract
ne of the Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors that can be done in Islamic boarding school educational institutions or Pesantren is washing cutlery using antibacterial dishwashing soap. So that apart from eating nutritious food, the cutlery used is also clean and free of bacteria. Based on preliminary data taken by researchers, it was stated that 75% of students did not wash their plates with dishwashing soap. Cutlery washing soap can remove dirt and kill bacteria that come from leftover food and drinks. this research aim is to increase santri knowledge about the importance of using cutlerywasher soap and how to make cutlery-washing soap. This research method uses pretest and posttest filling, an explanation of material about the importance of using cutlery-washer soap using PPT and direct training in making cutlery-washer soap. The results of this research were taken from the pretest and posttest results and analyzed using the SPSS pair T-test. The results of the data analysis showed that the average posttest value was greater than the pretest value and a significant value was obtained less than 0.05 (0.000). These results show that there is an increase in the knowledge of MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet students about the importance of using cutlerywasher soap and how to make cutlery-washing soap
